Indians living in the US will now have access to two of India’s leading television channels. English news channel, TIMES NOW, and Bollywood entertainment channel, Zoom, can now be viewed across the US.
This should come as good news for a very large Indian diaspora that is always interested Bollywood, cricket and news from India.
The channels will aim to attract the affluent Indian and Asian communities living in the US.
“Our endeavor, as Times Television Network, is to build our brands internationally and bring India closer to the world,” says Vineet Jain, Chairman Times Television Network. “The launch of our channels TIMES NOW and zoOm on the biggest platform for the Indian Diaspora- the DISH Network, will allow South Asian community residing in the US to be informed on the latest Indian news and current affairs besides being entertained with all that’s happening in Bollywood”.
Sunil Lulla, managing director and chief executive of Times Television Network was excited that now more Indians and India-focused audiences in the US would be able enjoy the unique content that these channels provide to their viewers.
The news and Bollywood channels will be available in the US on the DTH platform, DISH Network. They are available on DISH’s Hindi Mega Pack. In addition, TIMES NOW is also available on the DISH’s News Pack.
