Gul Panag got married in the typical Bollywood style yet in the most unusual way.
The Bollywood actress, who is always active on Twitter disappeared from the microblogging site for a couple of days before returning with an unusual tweet: “#InOtherNews, got married yesterday. Super fun it was.”
The former Miss India, less known for her Bollywood projects, and more known for her fearless image and commentary, invited very few friends for Bollywood. The wedding was a well-kept secret. The bike-fanatic actress who is often known for riding Royal Enfield (and made headlines recently for riding without helmet in Delhi) used a two wheeler (with side car) as her bridal vehicle of choice for the wedding – albeit like Veeru and Jai in Sholay or more recently Circuit and Munna in Munnabhai MBBS.
Gul married her long-time friend Rishi Attari and rode a Royal Enfield bike with side car. The bike was followed by wedding attendees on bikes too.
The Punjabi-style wedding was performed in Panchkula where only selected guests and family members were invited.
After winning Miss India in 1999, Gul maintained an image of herself which is contrary to traditional Indian women.
The Bollywood actress who shares many details of her life with her 150,000 followers on Twitter, managed to keep the wedding a secret.
