The Global Indian is the flagship publication of Angan Publications Ltd., a New Zealand-owned company registered under the Companies Act in New Zealand. The Global Indian is a monthly electronic magazine, published on the last day of the previous month and distributed electronically in New Zealand and many other countries. TGI's medium is electronic and as such, it is specifically designed as an electronic publication, and is not an electronic version of a print publication. The subscription is free. TGI focuses on the lives and lifestyle of Indians in New Zealand and around the world. It carries articles of interest to Indians (not necessarily relating to Indians) across the globe. It touches all aspects of an Indian's life - politics, people, business, entertainment and art. It tries to explore various issues in an Indian's life that are influenced by the Indian uniqueness. As an electronic publication, it is interactive, where readers can search the document, save it on the desktop and read offline, post their views on the articles, and can access the websites of advertisers. Those who prefer a print version can print the document.
